We are looking for skilled employees – both in the hospitals in Western Norway and at Helse Vest RHF. Here you will find the vacant positions within the specialist health services in Western Norway.

Helse Vest RHF is the regional health authority for Western Norway. The organisation employs, among others, advisors with medical backgrounds, lawyers, economists, social scientists, HR advisors, communication advisors, payroll and accounting staff, and secretaries. We employ approximately 80 people and are located in the city centre of Stavanger.
 
Helse Vest RHF owns the five health trusts in the region: Helse Bergen, Helse Stavanger, Helse Førde, Helse Fonna, and Sjukehusapoteka Vest, in addition to Helse Vest IKT AS. The hospitals offer a wide range of jobs, including roles in healthcare, ICT, culinary services, management, and engineering. There are approximately 130 different occupational groups within the hospitals.

Requirements for Employment

When appointing staff, the same requirements apply to foreign nationals as to all other applicants:
  • You must be able to communicate in Norwegian, both written and spoken.
  • You must be able to present a valid residence and work permit where required.
  • You must present professional authorisation where required.
  • You must provide a police certificate of good conduct for positions where this is required, for example when working with children or people with intellectual disabilities.
If you are a foreign national, you must be able to provide documentation of vaccination.
